last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Does it still have to be useless even if it's whimsical and keeps me very occupied? Because if not then I would spend it inventing and manufacturing improved candlepin and duckpin bowling pinsetters, opening an elaborately-themed bowling alley to use them in, and operating it at a loss
lets say a wizard has cursed you with a lot of money. you are going to become permanently brain damaged simply by being in possession of so much money. the only way out of it is to spend a lot of money on something ridiculous and not at all useful

I just thought of (what I hope is) an interesting baseball rules question: If a player/manager is ejected, and then later the game has to be suspended and resumed on another day, are they still ejected when the game resumes or can they come back?
