I've been dealing with some pretty severe brain fog lately (because reasons) and one side effect has been acknowledging how many words I understand in context, but not by definition. and honestly, it's been interesting. there's certainly better motivations, but I can make big words better search now

there's basically nothing on this list that speaks to me (outside of the globe attached to a game I've never heard of, although I think that's just because I'm only just now realizing how much I want a globe) but donating to the EFF is always a good thing to do. and you can win some nerd shit!

I thought of a couple C- jokes for this but the overwhelming feeling is just how sad some peoples lives are. We live in a world full of wonders and amazing experiences and this is all some people have, this is what they think life is. They have a profound emptiness.

PIERS: “You’re not gay?”
FUENTES: “No. But women are very difficult to be around.”
P: “Should they vote?”
F: “No.”
PIERS: “They should stay home?”
FUENTES: “Yeah.”
PIERS: “So you’re just a misogynistic dinosaur. Have you ever had sex?”
FUENTES: “No.”
PIERS: “Wow. Says the guy who never got laid.”

long ago accepted the fact that his movies just aren't "made for me," but every time he opens his mouth I ask why are people listening to this weirdo? he panders in material already better exploited by others, while contributing little new. he's just always been an asshole.
no foot shaming, though.

Anyone who says “be normal” betrays that they have an implicit value system of who is considered normal and who is not, and when you have that, you will always value some people and traits over another. They will always replicate hierarchies of power in the long run.
California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Thursday that the Democratic Party needed to be “more culturally normal” and “less judgmental.”
