RNZ Anneke Smith article is a National Party PR puff piece. Where is opposition comment?

“Coalition lauds 38k fewer victims of violent crime.”

When Luxon came into Govt they changed victimisation stats removing domestic & MH call-outs.

No one truly believes crime is down here do they? #nzpol

Also the comparison to Australia is disingenuous

In Aussie they have a Mandatory Employer Contribution: By law, employers must contribute a minimum of 12% of an eligible employee's pre-tax income to an approved superannuation fund

That's paid in addition to wages and salaries
#NZPol
Who cut the $1000 Kickstarter? National
Who reduced the minimum contribution to 3%? National
Who reduced the member tax credit from $1040 to $521? National
Who then reduced the same member tax credit from $521 to $260.72? National.

Don't believe National on Kiwisaver.

Doctors and parents should make decisions about what is best for their kids health - not politicians. The Government has said doctors cannot give new prescriptions of puberty blockers to children who are suffering from gender dysphoria. That is putting kids at risk.

Thread - read to the end to see why this is important to Aotearoa and how, if the ban is not overturned, the evidence base used to justify the ban will be informed by a biased trial in 2031.
This was leaked to an Anti Trans journalist by the Anti Trans people designing the study. It is state mandated harm designed to fail. Inclusion criteria is Tanner 3-5 (middle of puberty), 2 years of gender 'persistence' & requirement to have exhausted other forms of 'care' ie conversion therapy.
A Substacker named Ben Ryan tweeted that "the long-awaited UK puberty blocker clinical trial protocol is out."

Shortly thereafter he deleted the post. I can't find a public version of the protocol but here's what I was able to salvage from the screenshot + post.

Reminder that juror fees have not been increased since 2004 (yes 21 years ago). The maximum payable is $127 for more than 3 hours and beyond 9 pm.

The usual daily rate is $62 for more than 3 hours but not beyond 6 pm.

Jury duty is obviously nowhere near as important as being on a board.

The government’s ban on puberty blockers undermines clinical expertise and targets trans youth with a policy that lacks evidence, consistency and fairness.

"At least one of those emails received a reply from Parliamentary Senior Member Support staffer Lisa Mitchell - the minister’s sister."
