I'm struck by this clip of former Obama speechwriter Sarah Hurwitz saying Holocaust education has backfired in part because people Palestinians as victims: "They think the lesson of the Holocaust is…you fight the big powerful people hurting the weak people."

Going in to midterms this is great to hear because this doesn’t work on voters at all. Unfortunately we know this because it was the Biden/Harris playbook all last year.

I saw this movie as part of a weird movie marathon Kevin Smith put on in Red Bank New Jersey 20 years ago it seems. It’s a great doc and it deserves to live.

I don’t like that I have two devices in th baby’s room that contain temperature sensors, they live on the same shelf mere inches apart and they never say the same temperature. 3-5 degrees apart all the time.

I don’t think there’s anything I hate more in media than slavish devotion to continuity. Second place is medium devotion to continuity.

I asked about Game Awards press tickets in October. Got an email yesterday encouraging me to buy my own, as there were no spares.
