My take: The NBA Cup Final should be played the Saturday of All Star Weekend and the players can be excused from whatever sad sack format the league is trying that year. The Cup format is fine, but it lacks the cultural gravitas the league's biggest events bring.

At this point everyone needs to assume it will be you and just make a plan for how you're going to deal with it.
It's insane that we gave up so many civil liberties after 9/11, yet we can't deal with assault weapons or red flag laws because someone might want to puree a deer or do army cosplay.
