It took me several tries, but I was so pleased with how this shot of the moon came out. I don't use a tripod or any tools or filters, so patience and a steady hand are essential.

Just wanted to share this one, as, personally, I love seeing moon photos, and I thought others might, too.

Allowing Covid-19 to spread freely worldwide will prove to be the worst case of deliberate negligence in the history of public health. At least 27 million lives have been lost, with millions more to follow. It is, unquestionably, a glaring instance of mass murder on an overwhelming scale.

The shallow fantasy in which most people dwell is now in a condition of fatal decline, faltering under the strain of collective harm resulting from the uncontrolled spread of Covid-19, and the general situation is clearly going to get much worse.

#COVID19
The ongoing pandemic of Covid-19 is a harbinger of fatal sufferings to come. The world as it is currently perceived is nearing its final stage: the old structure will soon fall apart, giving way to rampant evils of unprecedented hideousness. Those who are wise will prepare for the worst.

With Covid-19, if you wait until the danger is readily apparent, the damage will already have been done.

#COVID19
Do not wait until "every fifth person is coughing." With Covid-19 completely out of control everywhere, it is always "time to mask up." The wisest, and safest, course of action is to take no chances, which means always wearing a respirator mask in all situations of potential contagion.

Happy Friday, all! Totes have been a popular item in my shop this year & as I have a bit of a weakness for bags, it makes me extra happy to know people are enjoying my art on theirs, or purchasing one as a gift.

I invite you to browse my shop and see if a tote, or any other item, floats your boat.
"Origami Boat in Rain Puddle | Minimalist Watercolor Art" Tote Bag for Sale by AngelaMarieArt
I let the watercolors do most of the work on this minimal piece. Sometimes, less is more, and I thought the addition of the simple origami boat was just enough in this instance. I hope it brings a mom...

I’ve never paywalled my articles because I know many of my readers are on disability & can’t afford it.

I’m in a terrible situation with my housing and may need to ask for help.

What’s the best way to do this? Paywall? Wish list? Go fund me?

Would folks be bothered by a GFM in lieu of a paywall?

Yes, well, in my case, it means my pacifism and commitment to ahimsa means I won't punch you or infect you with a life-altering virus. So everyone wins.✌️

I was recently advised by a nurse's assistant to ditch my N95 before speaking with my PCP. Luckily, he was wearing his mask when he came in a few minutes later, said he always felt more comfortable in a mask, and told me to do what I needed to do re: masking.

Good doctor.
6 years today the first COVID case was identified in a man in Wuhan marking the beginning of a global pandemic that changed the world. We are way less prepared today to face another pandemic than we were back then. This fact makes me sad.
