The scene is of Petunia(pooltoy otter) and Daisy (Pooltoy mouse) fussing with Hans (now a pooltoy pine marten) and trying to create a manufactured persona for him to work. Daisy : "You'd htink the personality nudges, name, pooltoy AND gender would be enough. (small text) would like to keep them a dook...we have too much demand for dooks." Petunia: "Well that leaves sexuality." Daisy: "Gender already is going a bit deep... but we'll try it, into what?" Petunia: "He said he was bi. Could just turn up the female attraction and turn down male attraction until it takes. It should be fine as long as the result isn't like male repulsed." reference text - Manatear reference - Manufactured personas. it is not uncommon for a spellfluxed company to require a "IN theme" transformation to work a job. If the job has high standards or expectations of "Just so" behavior they may deploy these manufactured personas on workers that are consenting but unable to do the work as themselves. These personas are created by deliberately layering filters, behaviors, and a different shape on a spellfluxed and holding the spellfluxed on the edge of lucidity. If the changes are not distinctive enough the persona will not take and stabilize. A common trait of lazy work on such thing are incongruent conflicting traits and behaviors arbitrarily added to be different enough. High conflict traits tend to erode and may destabilize a manufactured persona. Manufactured personas may develop new traits like any other persona, these new traits may prevent destabilization as fragile traits erode. spellfluxed that can even do the process to manufacture personas is a very limited and in demand skillset among within spellfluxed society.

It's been a while but here's another setting ref as I cause problems with my sona character Hans. Personas often manifest from people unable to wrestle with the implications of what they experienced. Hans solution is to just not worry about it. that'll work. It'll TOTALLY work. #furryart #manatear
Oh this one is wordy. It features simple upper body shots of Hans(base, pinemarten) Variable (cat drone) Iris (pooltoy Pinemarten) and Sterling (mall rat) Manatear Reference Personas Transformation in the manatear frequently puts a spellfluxed under a heavy behavior filter modifying how they may act, think, move, speak, etc. Personas are effectively reoccurring 'characters' that emerge when the associated shape occurs. A potential persona develops from longer lasting transformative episodes that generally come with heavy filters making it very distinctive from the base personality. If the spellfluxed gets too hung up on the experience for whatever reason it can hangout and become a persona. once developed Personas do not interact with lucidity normally as they are not wholly separate from the base personality. The base critter cannot "Wakeup" from the persona and have total control as themselves. The persona is for all intents the base awareness and personality while active. Depending on the persona the dynamic can run a gambit of "Base + filter" to "Wholly different person" Personas have extremely variable dynamics with the base spellfluxed. Some are totally passive until their context happens, to outright being aware and able to communicate with the base spellfluxed. The minimum is a general urge to 'Stretch a muscle' on the occasion to give personas active time. Variable – Genderfluid typically Cat-thode Does lots of transformative 'incentives' to themselves and others. Mostly triggered deliberately by entering streamer mode. Starts streams as Hans with the bell collar. Hans is lucid while performing as variable, but the persona takes over with ease. Generally operates on set stream times to hand back to Hans. Iris she/her Pooltoy Pine Marten Works at the airbar, doing front and back room work. Iris is a manufactured persona by daisy and petunia. Hans is lucid while performing as Iris. The most directly 'him' while in persona, but is very aware of the intense filters and has learned to play into them. Sterling - trans fem she/her mall rat Hans generally never intentionally turns into Sterling, whenever he is turned into a rat or rat adjacent shape Sterling will emerge. Sterling recognizes all of Hans friends as intimate girl friends and rationalizes all their masc friends as having to operate in 'boy mode' and will want to help them be themselves. Considers "hans" a dead name. Hans lucidity is suspect.
