i am very worried there is an emerging consensus from "trans-supportive" cishets in the US that's basically "you can be trans, but not if you're a child". trans rights ok if they don't have to cede property "rights" over their kids

there is no trans liberation without youth liberation
I do have to point out that even with a more-accepting society, there is a gulf between "I am okay with queers" and "I am okay with my kid being a queer". People can support LGBT rights in the abstract and then get spooked when their own precious cinnamon roll makes them a "non-traditional family".

Here's a 2018 Jezebel article by Harron Walker that spells out how Jesse Singal was busy radicalizing "left-of-center" journalists in a closed listserv against youth transition.

Nobody gave a fuck.

So, if the AI bubble does finally burst.

Y'all just... banking... on the idea that all that dirty laundry you told Chat is going to be deleted?

Y'all really think there won't be A LINE of people coming in to bid on that data, from a company broke as a joke and desperate to recoup their losses?

Libs can't stop admitting just how much they they think it's okay to exploit and pillage and brutalize the third world eh
The "ICE is using military tactics suited for a warzone, not for American streets" rhetoric kinda misses the point that warzones are not naturally occuring. The US military creates war zones from residential neighborhoods and the tactics are not more justifiable just because it's overseas

Gently: I think the sweet little leftist fiction that right-wing politics are the result of epistemic gaps---that you can just newsletter and educate and evangelize your way to leftism---is dead.

Consider: many people want to hurt others. Want to feel superior. Want to inflict pain on the lesser.

doing "it's not transphobia because trans boys are allowed and it's not gender discrimination because [cis] girls are allowed" is, very hilariously, a similar context to how crenshaw constructed the legal framework on intersectionality

Much ink has been spilled to the effect of "trans girl spinny skirt cringe" but I don't think people realize how demandingly rigid the rituals of forced masculinity are. I was screamed at for wearing the "wrong colored" shoes. Let trans women be girls, most were not allowed to be.
One of the great things about being a trans woman is giving yourself permission to finally like cute things that weren't "socially acceptable" to enjoy before.

[Not that this is the way things SHOULD be. Just finding small joy where I can.]

Keep hearing devs say that they only use ai for "pre-concept art"

There is no pre-concept art. There is concept art. That's where the idea starts. With the concept.

You're using ai for concept art.
