Thank you! I...don't do anything special to it lol

And no, I don't want an undercut again. I'll post short short hair Sol here but it's not coming back. I like having length
A photo of Solomon in a car, his hair is short and bleached, the sunlight is strong Solomon with short messy hair drinking milk from a skull cup Solomon with bleached hair that is more or less an overgrown undercut Solomon with his hair styled as a pompadour, the top is bleached, the sides are not
sollizyy.bsky.social
I'm debating if I want to let my hair grow out for like 2 years before chopping it again, or get it chopped next spring again. I liked the long long hair, but the chin/shoulder length suits me and is easier to keep healthy

Decisions decisions

Also I've published 4 books through Ingram, and I did the formatting for them, so if you are having trouble with that you can just dm me, ik Ingram is a pain in the ass
sollizyy.bsky.social
Also you can make it cheaper on direct links, so for your American readership they will get a cheaper price
sollizyy.bsky.social
I typically just go through Ingram for print rn, but I want to look into a Canadian pod, bc 1) we won't need to buy isbns, and it will be cheaper, and I can't order author copies from Ingram to Canada :/

If you have to raise the price, do it, I try to set it so that I make about 4 dollars per sale

If you see this, QTP with a sword
sollizyy.bsky.social
And also "this character isn't transmasc syndrome" from authors in response to readers when they interpret a character that way bc he presents masc/chest binds/transitions away from womanhood

It's just very fascinating imo
sollizyy.bsky.social
Dubbing a phenomenon "trans guy side character syndrome" to reflect the staggeringly high amount of times I get recced something or someone asking me to read their work bc there's a trans guy in it, and he only has a pinch of pagetime
sollizyy.bsky.social
I'll get to Calyx Charm for sure, I'm about halfway through Lord of the Last Heartbeat

A Strange and Stubborn Endurance looks interesting
sollizyy.bsky.social
Oh I'll have to grab em when they come out 💖
sollizyy.bsky.social
They don't *need* to ft. transmasc characters but that will uh, obviously bump them up on my tbr
sollizyy.bsky.social
Hm, what are your favourite romantasy books? I struggle a lot with this hybrid genre bc I often find the books struggle with balancing a romance focus and an in depth fantasy world, but it has a lot of potential, so I'm always willing to try

On top of this, I really don’t see what people hope to gain by gatekeeping nonbinary or other GNC folks from the trans community. Or any flavor of queer from the queer community, really. Gatekeeping” I think is the term they’re looking for.

before you post theory-brained (derogatory) slop, it's probably important to make sure the words you're using are being used correctly, op (the person in the screenshot) posting this with this terminology when we have multiple instances of colonial and imperialist violence ongoing is diabolical TBH
sollizyy.bsky.social
The rhetoric that purposes to be against "watering down the term transgender" is watering down the term colonization. Labels being fluid and used differently by different queer people is not the same thing as a people invading another people and stealing their land/condemning their way of life

"the transgender community has been colonized by cissexual nonbinaries"

Jesus fuck what
the concept of being transgender has largely been colonized by cissexual nonbinary people. the concept of polyamory has largely been colonized by swingers. is there anything you people won't take over and make about yourselves.

and ig if you count serially publishing a novel online as indie publishing (debatable, I suppose, valid) I had my first novel out when I was like 26/27. But I'm looking forward to the re edit, and print release, that'll be cool
