It's not anime but I remember buying box-sets of Stargate SG-1 at HMV for about £30 each. This started after series 4 had finished airing but I bought every series.
HMV only ever had one copy of each box, though. Was I the only fan in my city?

Had to share this cause it annoys me. DS9 faced tons of hate, including racism. Watch the What We Left Behind doc for proof. Avery Brooks fought racism behind the scenes & even had to defend Cirroc Lofton after a security guard harassed him near set. Don’t rewrite history. Only Sisko can do that.

A games design term that is used a lot but you may not be familliar with is "swingy". It's handy to know and address if your games.
So a "swingy" dice mechanic gives you wildly different results regardless of factors such as modifiers and attributes.
A typical example is a D20 roll.
