It’s the best beach. Definitely. At least the best I’ve visited. With a nice beach bar, easy to reach, and with a super nice sunset. Can’t miss that place in my opinion.

Threads today look like a wall of grief. Pictures of people who died in the fire in Hong Kong, farewell messages, and stories about their lives. I have never seen something like this in my whole life. Every second post. 😢🙏

It was one of these places I’ve found in the video on YouTube. And I went down to that beach. Unfortunately it was high tide - but if you want 2-3 days of living in a very quiet resort and just hear the waves - go here.

Why, @buffer.com you let me first write the text, after uploading the video - just to let me know, that it isn't possible to post the video. And why are you not just compressing it?

Going now to Threads and post it directly. 🤨 Works.

Walking around with a Liverpool shirt in Pattaya, Thailand - Episode 1:

A guy in an elevator looks at me: “Oh, Liverpool, ha? - It’s okay!”. I answer: “Well, yeah. We have to learn… “. He interrupted me: “Nah, I’m ManU and happy that we are not alone the biggest sh%t anymore”

Match day. And it starts with a minute of silence. For the countless victims of the Tai Po fire.

A hero for HK (via HK hub)

«Local media report that she, her employer, and the employer's three-month-old baby were trapped inside the flat as smoke and heat quickly filled the unit. During the incident, Rhodora used her body to shield the infant while they waited for firefighters to reach them.»

A video made in the best bar (I found) on Koh Kood. They wrote outside of the building: “Hot beer, bad service, too expensive" 😂 Well, I would go again. It was actually a fun place.

The last news headline shows: «Hong Kong fire: Rescue effort called off with 128 dead, 200 missing». At the same time, I’ve got messages from all over the world asking if I’m fine. 1/2

A 20.82 km long hike along some beaches. Koh Kut, you’re stunning. Love it, even my legs are now tired. Amazing Thailand 🇹🇭

I wonder. Why there are suddenly so many incidents with power banks? We use power banks for years, but I seldom saw postings. Is it the coverage, or did something change? www.straitstimes.com/singapore/sm...

Yesterday, I hiked for 4:40 hours and covered 20.82 km. Koh Kood is beautiful and very relaxing. It was good to be here during my weekend in Thailand.

And it was good to eat local food. 💛

If you were nearby a waterfall in Thailand, and it never stops bleeding, it must have been leeches. And if you collected a couple of those f#%#*rs.

The question today: Should I believe AllTrails and follow that route from Ban Ao Prao to Ban Ao Jak?

First night in Koh Kut / Koh Kood. Arrived late afternoon, and directly explored the beach around my resort.

Hiking through the jungle of Thailand. And got lost again. 🫣 Ended up in the middle of nowhere instead of at the waterfall. 🥾 But I got greeted by monkeys.

From Bangkok to Koh Kut / Koh Kood. What a journey. 😅

I did expect everything, but not that cold weather in Thailand. 😅 I think I do need to buy a hoodie. Well, at least the weather is great for hiking.

(And yes, I’m Swiss. But as I have lived in Asia for 10 years, I’m used to 30+ degrees.)

I’m on the ferry to Koh Kood. And everyone is talking about an incident that happened yesterday.

A staff member tells me: 5-meter waves yesterday, today just 3 meters. 🫢 Boarded the boat and almost stepped in vomit. 🫣 Good luck to us.

A breakfast place where you have to go through a bar, to reach that almost hidden floor. 😅 But the breakfast was awesome.
