Yeah. Just a really really basic conceptual framework here that a lot of people don't grasp because they don't want to grasp it. If you're on this site at all, "Democrats" is YOU, like it or not. You're part of the broad left/liberal coalition and "the Democratic Party" is the electoral brand. 🤷♂️
People who consider “Democrats” an external thing they take no responsibility for yet complain about incessantly should be treated briefly with contempt and promptly ignored.

I'm really having a hard time understanding Dems against prop 50. I hate it as well, but will vote for it. What's the alternative? Telling yourself later you held on to your ideals as people are loaded into planes to El Salvador?
