After multiple requests and quite a long delay for a single-page public document, the DOC finally produced the letter yesterday. But more than half of it was redacted.

Thus far, the governor has not said that he will or won’t grant the request. Boulder County Clerk Molly Fitzpatrick said Polis' silence is “offensive,” while others on the call asked that Polis publicly reject the request.

Took a lane on Rainier and it was probably the best experience I've ever had. Nobody messes with you when you've got a 6 ft tall precariously balanced stack of potentially windshield crushing chairs.

Impressive haul!!!
Couldn't turn down some free block party chairs -- and pretty impressed that even without bungees, the @ternbicycles.com and @theoverheadwire.com
scarf got them 3mi to home. Those scarves are surprisingly stretchy!

Spotted this red tailed hawk feeding on a cottontail rabbit on my ride 🚲 home from work today. Biking allows you to take in the world around you and it’s so easy to stop and enjoy it, even when it’s kinda gruesome.

“We've had five years of public engagement on this,” board member Allen Cowgill said. “The design was clearly final. We had construction announced and then everybody was surprised by this.”
A scuttled road diet for Alameda Avenue has caused discontent within the advisory board for the city’s transportation department — including one resignation, with more possible.

For those who think Johnson is some chess strategist with a plan to stop the Epstein files... I ask does this look like a man with a plan?

It appears he did not anticipate the senate would approve of the bill with unanimous consent.

Rollins on why Americans will have to reapply for SNAP: "Clearly there's a right-sizing that needs to happen. The unintended consequence of the Democrat shutdown is now the spotlight has been shined on and we have to make sure we're able to make sure it's going to the right people."

Let’s see if the “personal liberties and free markets” editorial board of the Washington Post will actually take Trump to task over his comments excusing the murder of one its own columnists.

Given that they’ve purged me and all their opinion writers who actually care about human rights.

The function of HR is not to enforce civil rights law, but to make sure that employees have very few avenues to actually win discrimination suits. Literally no one seems to understand this.

Our most vulnerable members of society are the victims of our poor decisions to prioritize car culture, exclaiming that because robust public transit or high quality, efficient sidewalks are of no use to us in particular that our tax dollars shouldn't fund it. This is narcissistically selfish.

Lovely thread 🚲
I was approached by a lady outside the gym today while parking my bike. She was likely in her 70s. She had such great questions about the bike and then proceeded to tell me about her ebike.

She told me that she rode over 600 miles on it last year and was so proud of herself. She was so happy.
