I heard there were two feet of stone
that in the desert stood alone
but you don't really remember that guy
do ya
that in the desert stood alone
but you don't really remember that guy
do ya
[Ducktales theme]
Vast and trunkless legs of stone
I-n the, de-sert
Standing out there all alone
It's un-pleasant
A shattered visage
might be a mirage
Hubris! Woo hoo!

The name on the plinth is Ozymandias
Christopher Robin despaired with Alice
Two trunkless legs are all that stand
Except for a face and lots of sand
Says Alice

The Outer Worlds 2 presents its unique items in a way that is kinda confusing to me. Like... I can infer from various details that this is a piece of armor, but... why doesn't it SAY anywhere that it's armor?

A skeleton walks into a bar. “Gimme a beer,” he says.
The bartender, who is a pile of loose skin and organs lying on the floor, is unable to respond.
“Oh right,” the skeleton says. “I forgot about that.”

It’s weirding me out that all the dialogue in Outer Worlds 2 is written with the previous game’s Firefly-esque cowboy patois, and then delivered with no drawl or accent at all.

Asymmetric’s entire deal is making sure our processes are like the ones he describes from the 90s. Sure, fewer people buy our games, but they cost orders of magnitude less to make, and the people making them are creatively empowered and not constantly frustrated.
