Has anyone made the switch from Spotify to Tidal? Several artists I listen to a lot left because of ICE ads and other garbage on there. And to be honest, the listening experience has just gotten worse.

"This weekend illustrates three points at which the administration’s lawlessness can become a part of the public discussion—when officials announce lawless actions, reporting that follows lawlessness, and when orders from federal courts are issued seeking to hold officials accountable for lawlessness"
NEW: The Trump administration's lawlessness is front and center, on multiple fronts.

The response to the shooting of two National Guard troops, reporting on the boat-strike murders, and the continued contempt inquiry keep Trump's lawlessness in the news.

Since we're still talking about it
It's interesting to me that rather than just have a top notch catered spread (lord knows she can afford the finest chef in the land) she performs this labor, not even very well, and feels compelled to put it out there on god's green internet for everyone to mock.

"In an age of word processing and spell check, auto formatting, and a plethora of font options, typewriters just do one thing. Press down a key, up goes a hammer onto a piece of paper, it makes a mark. That’s it. Mistakes stay on the page."
"People come to typewriters for many reasons. They exist in stark contrast with modern life on screens in a disposable world. They're outdated. They're also fun. They're dusty, and they're more beautiful to look at than any current writing device. "
Holy shift! This Puget Sound typewriter calendar has the write stuff

A poem from WWI that is greatly regarded as a warning of the horrors of war. If you haven't read it before, take care and take a moment to reflect with warrior poet Wilfred Owen.
Bent double, like old beggars under sacks,
Knock-kneed, coughing like hags, we cursed through sludge,
Till on the haunting flares we turned our backs,
And towards our distant rest began to trudge.
It’s almost as if there were signs!

Of vile, incurable sores on innocent tongues,—
My friend, you would not tell with such high zest
To children ardent for some desperate glory,
The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est
Pro patria mori.

Shall we hear from Owen?

Are limbs, so dear-achieved, are sides
Full-nerved, still warm, too hard to stir?
Was it for this the clay grew tall?
—O what made fatuous sunbeams toil
To break earth's sleep at all?
It’s almost as if there were signs!

Perhaps we should hear from Sassoon?

I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark
..
You smug-faced crowds with kindling eye
Who cheer when soldier lads march by
Sneak home and pray you’ll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go
It’s almost as if there were signs!

Reading the deposition he gave in Chicago you can understand why it is that Judge Ellis tore into him.

The first substantive question is "What is your role in Operation Midway Blitz?" Bovino essentially gives his title and no further details. 8 pages later, the lawyer gives up.
