Questionable taste in winter hats, first-clapper, cheese enthusiast, lamprey stan.
I watched this for the first time alone, in a cabin in the woods, with single pane windows and a glass of wine. Better decisions have been made. But the vibes were terrifying.

Wild. All the while there is a fixed and diminishing amount of arable land to grow food for the population - and organic can't yield enough to do the job. At the end of the day, if you have the privilege to know your farmer and see that they are responsible, that is far more meaningful that a seal.

I hear that, friend! All these people trying to pick the best and safest things, spending extra to do so and for naught! It's a travesty.

The truth is this. The USDA organic seal as a set of farming practices has a net negative impact on the environment - costs the consumer on average there times more and confers zero additional nutritional benefit. It's a scam.

Rotenone!!! And on average there needs seven times more applications of non synthetic pesticides to achieve similar results. Seven times.

When I did a research project on the USDA organic seal as a set of farming practices and learned that it's basically a giant (and tremendously successful) consumer misinformation campaign - it was a mind changing moment. A hard one. But ultimately, a very good thing.

Once I thought I was making neutral small talk with a lady I didn't know well by bagging on avatar (didn't everyone hate it)for using papyrus for the subtitles to avoid paying for a font. She then told me she loved the movie and had just had her wedding invites done in papyrus for the theme. So.
