"sometimes they just didn't have the thing you wanted" is a good thing, as was generally being out in the world and talking to people and maybe grabbing something new that looks weird on the shelf because they didn't have the thing you wanted that becomes your whole personality for a year.

Someone doesn’t remember how badly going to a video store sucked, and just generally how much worse things were in the 90s-2000s. Oh, it doesn’t work perfectly? Sometimes they just didn’t have the thing you wanted. We live in an era of unprecedented media abundance and it’s has spoiled us rotten.

It's a "test" of the ceasefire because the owners have decided that it would look bad for Israel to call it a "violation" of the ceasefire.

Only the other side can ever "violate" a ceasefire or "break" a ceasefire, whatever Israel does is just "ceasefire adjacent activities."

The potential for shit like this is one reason why groups like LUCE in Massachusetts urge people to report sightings to them so they and their partners can directly warn people. A decentralized network is a lot harder to shut down. No big tech company will be in ally in the fight against ICE.
