Seems like a good event to use the Kuchera ratio (16-20:1 per the models). Good upward motion and supersaturation within the dendritic growth zone, cloud temperature max of -8°C for minimal riming, cold surface temperatures, and modest wind near the surface. @vortexjeff.bsky.social
