For a decade, Trump has fomented and harnessed lies and anger. Without lies triggering anger, he has nothing, is nothing. In response, the truth and anger can be peacefully harnessed, like here, into collective reflection and a recommitment to our better angels. That is the story of America.

Would you support or oppose eliminating ICE and replacing it with trained, accountable, law-abiding civil servants who respect their oaths and the Constitution and humanely administer a reformed immigration system while treating everyone with dignity?

Maybe schools should add to their curricula how to safely and efficiently pop the vehicle tires of violent white nationalists who attack children, so these monsters can't escape.

The fact that they're not ALL shouting down a child sex trafficker and rapist while she does her job asking a very legitimate question about the survivors is enough to make you sick. Pure cowardice and subservience to this predatory crook.
CNN’s @kaitlancollins.bsky.social : “What would you say to the Epstein survivors?”

TRUMP: “You are so bad… You are the worst reporter... I’ve never seen you smile.”

A terrible human. Makes so much sense that he and Epstein were tight.

(And the other reporters say nothing. Cowards, all.)

Note: two of the three examples of states he listed aren't states.
Q: What did you mean when you said you should 'nationalize elections' & which 15 states are you talking about?

TRUMP: If a state can't run an election, I think the people behind me should do something about it. Look at Detroit, Pennsylvania, Atlanta -- horrible corruption on elections

Every so-called reporter who asked him a question after this exchange—that wasn't about this exchange—should never be able to work in journalism again. The same for every other time he's done this.

How can anyone stand there through this, SAY NOTHING ABOUT IT, and still think they're a journalist?

DeLauro says House Dems want "provisions to require judicial warrants, prohibit U.S. citizens from being detained or deported, strengthen oversight of reconciliation funds, mandate the use of body-worn cameras and establish an enforceable code of conduct."

I seem to recall an anecdote reported from the recent document release about Trump coming out of a room to tell Epstein how "great" Melania (who apparently he had recently met) was. Am I remembering that correctly?

And I also think we don't have to wait to find out if a person is revealed as terrible to express an opinion that their work isn't very good; prior to the revelation, their popularity (among other things) insulates them from criticism... which, not for nothing, tends to protect/enable bad actors.

Horrifying and unnerving. DHS sent an administrative subpoena to Google for this retiree's records and even sent armed agents out to his house for the "offense" of writing the following completely anodyne email to a federal prosecutor using an email address he found via Google.
