Longhorns, Bayern, politics, finance?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a center lose a game with a double clutch snap.

The problem with rooting for upsets is that the underdogs are often really bad at football.

Is Auburn aware it is the fourth quarter?

Oh my LSU. You waste 40 seconds and the TO?!?

Really locked in on this Florida/FSU game. They’re calling it the “bad loss bowl.”

Side benefit is that this would remove kale from our plates and return it to its rightful place as a garnish children have to work around to grab the last slice of pepperoni.
A modest proposal for the right

We implement social democracy and, in exchange, we’ll bring back 90s Pizza Huts and enshrine their continued existence in the Constitution

This is both funny and a good blueprint. Make these for everything! Remind government employees of civil causes of action for data breaches, stuff like that.

We didn’t need more info about the cool bounty hunter with about 45 seconds of movie screen time is what I’m saying. Even though he looks great.
Part of the problem with Star Wars is, weirdly, that the characters are the focus but the universe is what’s so interesting. So all the recent development is “here’s more information about the same families” and it kinda sucks. It’s high risk because you can’t screw up Luke Skywalker.

Well make it the Seditious Seven and carry on I guess…
He literally tweeted this out.

“SHOULD ORDERS AND THE LAW EVER CONFLICT, OUR OFFICERS MUST OBEY THE LAW.”

This plaque is displayed at West Point. It’s the law. Not sedition.

I can only imagine these two as the guys from BUGONIA, including their training routines.
i do not want to underestimate the seriousness of the charges — if true, these men should spent long stretches in prison — but the likeliest outcome of them actually attempting this would’ve been both of them being murdered within hours of making land, based on what’s described here

This recognition also totally changed my mind on putting names on charitable gifts. I used to think anonymous giving seemed so pure.

Nope. Slam your name on everything. Make all your super-rich buddies feel bad when they see it so they want to keep up.
This is a joke but weirdly I don’t see his name a lot on the big Dallas philanthropic stuff. Maybe I’m missing it, but you start to know the guys (like Trevor Rees-Jones) who give to EVERYTHING.
I’m hearing from a reliable source that Jerry Jones HATES charitable giving and that for every wish fulfilled today the Cowboys owner will get 1% madder, nuder, and redder while the Eagles steamroll his ass in Dallas.

Just something I’m hearing. Go birds.

🧵 We are, in fact, doing the thing again for @onesimplewish.bsky.social. In 2024, the kind people of this community put the money cannon on blast to help grant $75K in wishes for children in foster care. Toys, tech, a suit for job interviews. Here we go again! 👇

I think it’s hard for people on this website to conceptualize these voters who a) actually do care about the economy, b)do not know ANYTHING about how it works, and c) rely on surface level signaling (look at all the rich business dudes!) to work out who is good at it.
Yeah, it’s crazy, I’ll admit I bought into the idea that Americans voted “economy” as a stand-in for racism or sexism, but maybe it really was “economy”

Not this specific issue, but one of the paradoxes of Bitcoin is you simply CANNOT replace or change it. It sucks in tons of ways, but it is synonymous with crypto. It's THE safe play.

So if it goes to zero, who's signing up for round two? Instead you live with this kind of stuff until it blows up.
seems bad
