So I see this election as very critical to who we are as a nation - the character of America, democracy. And they may not like hearing that, but I don't like what they're saying either. And what they're - the assault that they are making on - no one is above the law. That's been what America has been about, except if you're Donald Trump.

Maybe so. I think the other explanation is that it's the analog of the people who hear "reduce health care benefits to fund tax cuts for rich people" and conclude that couldn't possibly be a major party platform.

They like Trump -> Trump wouldn't do bad things -> P2025 is bad -> Trump won't do it

This was true, and it's why I think the frustration in this thread is totally reasonable. Texas was very clearly behind OU for the last 15 years of the Big 12 - there's no real reason they should have swapped positions so dramatically at the move to the SEC.
