I just heard it was pancreatic cancer. That is how my mother died. At the end, the morphine wasn't helping and she had lost so much weight she looked like she had been in a concentration camp and I did pray for her to pass and be out of her pain. I'm going to need a minute.

Merciful God. I was fasting from TV this past 10 days. How awful. And at the same time, cancer is so hard on a body that I am sure it was a measure of peace.

While I was away I was not consciously but fully fasting from TV and media. I had not seen any for almost 2 weeks. I am grateful that the first media I saw was the release of Israeli hostages and the Palestinian deities who had so often then captured Without warrants or legal status.

The biggest mistake people make is confusing trek and star wars, star trek is about peoples of various species getting their shit together striving for a better tomorrow, star wars is much darker IMHO. There is a criminal underworld in trek, but it's much less emphasized.
