I am seeing a lot of people reposting Lakota Man today bc it's Indigenous Peoples Day. A reminder that he is not well liked amongst many (most?) Natives on social media. Many of us blocked him a long time ago. Some of the reasons why are in this article.

Lakota Man has a long history of posting mostly about men and about ancestors and not supporting current Natives. He has upset a lot of Natives on social media and most of us don't follow him or have blocked him. If you search for his name, there is a huge document outlining grievances against him.

With this HHS RIF, everyone is aggressively “calling” what data sources or government functions are dead, and I’m a bit uncomfortable. Not every team is zeroed out. Many people still doing their jobs. Reporters still need to substantiate claims about e.g. unreliable data. Not sure this is helping
