Related, NANA shareholders have been doing similar protests. I am glad that shareholders in ANCSA corporations are pushing back against working with detention centers.

The one day this semester that I have a migraine that totally affected my teaching is the day I remind students to fill out the student evaluations. Cool, I'm sure it'll be fine.

I was diagnosed with #HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died of AIDS. I did not expect to live to 50.
I’m 58 now.
HIV treatment works.
Treatment also makes it impossible for me to pass HIV on during sex.
Ensure HIV treatment for all.
End HIV stigma.

It's lovely to see the panel made by my mom in honor of my uncle, Don Ruddy (#2276) who died in 1992. He was a designer and artist in NYC. Featured on the panel is a collection of art & media by people living with AIDS he put together in 1989 called A Hundred Legends.

Great thread on the Ponzi scheme that is academic publishing. Public funds funnelled into obscene private profits using free labour of (publicly funded) Academics. AI slop contaminating the literature.
Since AI slop is again all over Scientific Reports, a thread on the economics of grey-zone publishing.

Why does slop keep getting published? What does it mean for science? How can we stop this?
