I just found out last night that the $50k enrollment bonus only pays out after 5 years of service, and reader, the laugh I let out when I read that woke the dog from across the house. These absolute fucking grapes aren't seeing a dime of that money. No way they can ride out 5 years of this job.

On the one hand, it must be an exciting time to be a public intellectual, calling evil by its name. On the other, it seems like the dullest job imaginable since the bad guys are uniformly uninterested in rigor or logic or consistency—just a bunch of shitposters breathlessly repeating cruel slogans.
The reactionary centrist logic is simple: if the left does something bad it’s the left’s fault, and if the right does something bad, it’s also the left’s fault for making them do it. It’s a simple formula and once you see it every one of their arguments is the same
