Is Alito just lying here? Ensign said he wasn't "aware" of any planned flights. Gov't also reserved the right to remove people the next day. But also, the gov't has repeatedly lied to courts. What a hack. If a working lawyer submitted something this transparently dishonest, they'd be flogged.

The last book I read that straight up knocked my socks off was Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees by @patrickhorvath.bsky.social. Gory and beautiful and funny and sad. Also, this year I finally read Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, which deserves all its hype. Poignant story and breathtaking art.
