Very encouraged by the positive response to the new series of online talks. There have been over 100 bookings for the 1st one in the last three days & I'm anticipating this being a well-attended return to Zoom after such a long break.

I bet you still see that pattern when you look away now
44 done, only about 600 to go…

Could do with some players who can sail as well…
This week I have been mainly painting German Battleships (Helgoland and König classes) and Light Cruisers (Bremen (2 ships at rear of picture), Gazelle (1) and Königsberg (2 at front) classes).

Now out as free to read - the build up to the Battle of Java (coming next week) and the last cruises of ABDACOM’s fleet and the issues they were facing.

I had last played in 1995 and it seemed to come back to me pretty easily. My wife likes playing as Tyranids and hasn’t lost yet, though I’m hoping my chaos marines might end that winning streak
I suspect they’ll probably come up with a theory about the finds but it will be off the hoof and the post excavation report will be a bit wooly in its detail…
Around 5-600pts seems to be the sweet spot for it for a reasonable length game. If the armies get too big hand to hand can get a bit bogged down and there’s not enough room for manoeuvre.

First full troop complete!

Command tanks next, then I’ve got the next three chieftains to do and that will be all the heavy armour in the force complete. Then on to fiddly bits! This is accurately replicated Camo, but it might get busy for smaller vehicles.

Obviously but you will need very deep pockets to do so (hence the reason mine for that are 99% later figures/other manufacturers)

There’s a very good facebook group for it btw
