Enjoy 4 minutes of scale modelling highlights with all the finished entries of #TonyTonyTony.
It's been fantastic to see the #histscalemodels community come together working on a rather narrow theme.
Very well done you all and thank you again for making this happen 👏👏

Zwilling Day6: Time for, what has come to be known, the qualifier shot.
While the engines are of course identical, their wing mounts are all different, hence the numbers.

Next project - “Dixie Clipper” as it appeared in wartime camo when transporting FDR to Casablanca in 1943. Found a set of painting instructions from when Minicraft boxed the ‘67 Airfix kit as part of a set. 3 main colors on - next is adding the four intermediate colors. #HistScaleModels #HeaviesGB

Nice, looking forward to your 3rd Michael 😀

I do actually, it's relaxing and calm where nothing can go wrong

Best you could do out of the Academy kit, I like the attention to the interior 👍

From that angle it looks like a toon bishop spg 😎

I find it very relaxing as nothing basically can go wrong 😃

Thanks Jim, it's a Zen thing with a nice podcast to go alongside 🙂

Zwilling Day3: Inevitably, as with every 111, some major clear parts masking.
This is where the two fuselages start to divert from each other, so I need to label them. #HeaviesGB

A tad repetitive though 🤣

Zwilling Day2: Dunkelgrau with aluminum highlights for the interiors.

Good progress, the headless soldiers are a bit of a puzzle tough

It does indeed, goes on the list.
Thank you Rick 👍

Cheers Chez, a distinctive lack of Australian content in the aircraft section shelfie, despite in the Malaya and Dutch East Indies Osprey and maybe a Boomerang in the Rare Birds and the WW2 Aircraft encyclopedias 😆

I voted for Halifax, looks like the war is already over 🤣

Currently reading @matteatonmedia.bsky.social recommendation, the counterfactual 'The Armchair General' in the Kindle Edition, handy for jumping back and forth through the pages.
As it doesn't make for great colorful pics, let's have a shelfie instead.

Motorcycle incident I presume?
I got a titan rod the size of my tibia, but only 5 screws

And you managed to complete your Fortress, thank you very much for your effort despite the injury 🤕

Superb weathering effects on the engines, bravo 👏👏

I managed to finish this up with my left hand (kinda ambidextrous). Not my magnum opus perhaps but I like the variation in the OD. So that's the #HeaviesGB finished for me.
