Enjoy 4 minutes of scale modelling highlights with all the finished entries of #TonyTonyTony.
It's been fantastic to see the #histscalemodels community come together working on a rather narrow theme.
Very well done you all and thank you again for making this happen 👏👏

In continuation of the #HeaviesGB 1/72 KC-135A build, which I will able to finish only through divine intervention, which is nice, here's the process of restoring the rear fuselage re-enforcement ribs which were sacrificed earlier in order to remove the top fuselage seam line. #histscalemodels

Yibbida Yibbida, That's All Folks! (As Rex Hunt would say 😅) 1:72 Consolidated B-24H Liberator. Corky Pig ready to take to the skis(I mean skies! Don't believe him!) Some gaps, some wrong colours, some bung decals.....still, pretty happy with my 1st effort in 27 years. 🤣 #HeaviesGB #histscalemodels

Next up in #histbookchat in a kindle edition of the Defence and Fall of Singapore.
First chapter in this is very promising, as it sets the scene with the inherent flaw of setting up a far eastern naval base in the treaty period, with Japan being still an ally.

I'll stop with the old Hasegawa B-17G as I've reached the tipping point where anything else is likely to make it worse. Maybe a little too tan for my liking, but a fun kit to build. Wrong rear turret, likely didn't have the red flashes, but it looks decent to civilians 😜

Right, that is me done with the Airfix Shackleton. A very good kit, great decals and in the end a good looking plane. A few mistakes and a few things I will do differently next time but overall happy with how it's turned out.

Mare Power Day7: US interior green for the landing gear bays, bomb bay will stay shut to block the view on the shoddy fuselage interior.
I kept my option open, but it really looks crap inside.

Mare Power Day3: That's the best I do for the interior.
US based (but china producing) manufacturer Minicraft defaulted for a good reason, don't visit the URL, it was hijacked by an online casino. Figures....

Mare Power Day2: I painted up the bombs, although they'd better serve on an external cart.
Bow turret came without the holes for the twin 0.50 cal.

B-24J 'Hare Power' Day1, given the quality of these parts from now on called Mare Power.
Hard thick plastic with tons of flash, poor fitting and extremely basic details. Bomb bay closed it shall be.

Soviet SU-18 self propelled gun. It never went into production, top heavy, narrow gauge and only held 4 shells.

Prototype roll out day, 10th October 1930, the ever-present commisars are not happy.

Kit by HobbyBoss 1/35. Loved making this little one.
