oh yeah the school is using a google search instance and it's AWFUL. which was another reason i didn't even think to look into it.

my suggestion was just to edit the library's page on the school website to contain certain keywords so they get directed to our homepage where they can re-run the search.

i am so stuck with this project! 10 years ago there were clear "rules" and guidelines for how people used websites, but everything is a hot mess right now! i am going to sit down with a grad student and have her review the site with me, because i don't know how the youths navigate the web these days
