And the boa had Hitler's mustache. I showed it to my boss at the syndicate and he says, "How dare a 19-year-old like you do a cartoon like that? What do you know?" I says "Well, I was raised in an area where you had a lot of gangsters. I know what gangsters do. Hitler's gonna want war. The CBC did this too. And at first, I said oh, this is just indeliberate copied-off-someone-else's-paper pure sloppiness; and then it thought about it and realized it was going to be policy, deliberate editorial policy, to describe the two groups of hostages differently

Very jarring how the media treats some lives as inherently and others not.

I am happy for hostages and their families to be reunited, but it’s shocking how little media attention is given to “how do Gazans grapple with the utter destruction of their homes, vast loss of lives, and ongoing famine.”

Weird how Tim Houston will listen to downtown businesses about we need workers back in the core but will not listen to hundreds of people stuck in traffic for and extra 45 minutes every morning to go to jobs they could be doing from their home offices

The term "graphic novel" was actually coined by Richard Kyle in 1964. For is entire life Will Eisner was certainly the "Champion of the GN!" The first GN was actually created by a caveman some years before that.
