Reporters must stop accepting this. Options:

-Laughing at him. Long and hard (combine with others)
-"It's your job to be informed"
-"How can Americans take you seriously when you always claim ignorance?"
-"I've never heard a speaker claim ignorance so often"
-"Nancy Pelosi knew what was happening"
Q: Just last week a minister was shot directly in the face with a pepper round by a DHS agent that left his face bloodied. Are you concerned that this is a religious freedom issue?

MIKE JOHNSON: I can't comment on any of those instances. I haven't seen or heard any of those videos

It's honestly astonishing how people like himvand Schumer get elected. They are the most bland, ineffectual, un-motivating politicians I can remember.

And also - African-Americans are the most patriotic people in this country.
This week at an event for THE PEOPLE’S PROJECT, a reader asked in a gracious and cheeky way what I would hope white readers in particular would get out of the book. Or more directly, what I would TELL white readers. And this was basically my answer:

African-Americans are experts on America.
America should listen to Black people

This is nearly a decade old and exactly why we should question and criticize Democrats who won't endorse their own nominees.

When Jeffries, Schumer and others refuse to endorse Zohran Mamdani, it's a red flag. It is predictive. A flashing indicator. They represent a danger and shouldn't be trusted.

Democratic candidates in swing Senate races should come out and say they will not vote for Schumer to be majority leader under any circumstances. It will help with both the Democratic base and Independent voters.

I think one of the better, more subtle tributes to Robert Redford's life is the string of utterly iconic female co-stars who've come forward to eulogize him; each of them take-no-shit types like Fonda and Streisand, and every one of them without a single bad thing to say. A model for male behavior
