johnson is also fucking terrified of what's in these files and is willing to keep the house on permanent vacation to prevent their disclosure, and that's becoming obvious to even the most checked-out median voter
Speaker Johnson is officially keeping the House in recess again next week. This will be the eighth consecutive week the House has been out of session. The chamber hasn't met since Sept. 19. Adelita Grijalva, who was elected on Sept. 23, has not been sworn in.

AI as currently understood cannot ever work. This is because it doesn't know what is and is not true. As use cases become more profitable, their requirement for precision increases as well and at a similar rate. The more profitable the use, the less appropriate AI is to it.

I recently (last year) moved to a suburb outside of a major metropolitan area, and I'm not kidding when I say everyone here is miserable. These people live in homes most people dream of, have salaries some people would kill for, and they're all angry and flying DON'T TREAD ON ME or Trump flags.

I wouldn't tell anyone else how to think or feel, but I will just say that, for me, the only way to stay sane after the 2024 election has been to pretty much abandon hope. The US is cooked. Everything I value about it is doomed. We're heading into a long period of dissolution & chaos.
