Anxiety has been off the charts in the last week. I can only compare it to how I felt when my mom was in the ICU during the height of the pandemic in 2020/2021. It’s like all that PTSD from the trauma of losing her and my dad within days of each other is just bubbling up to the surface again.

Two women trained as first responders were abducted by three ICE agents. One of the agents starts seizing. The other two don’t know what to do. The women jump into action and save the agent’s life, only to be re-handcuffed and processed.

Youth librarian here. I have seen 5yos melt over the wrong cookie, storytime being over, spilled juice, etc. And every one of those babies got a cuddle and a sympathetic ear. And this lil guy went through so much more and had none of that. I don't know if I've ever been more furious in my life
