Okay after issuing some arcane Powershell commands and pulling down an install iso to run the manual installer I've managed to get from crashing at 46% to a very slow 60% and counting, we may have escaped hell with this one.

The only one I ever learned reliably was 20->8 so sometimes I'd count off that but it still got annoying for me because it's not the default so you're always doing conversion.

Was worth it for the cute Zelda watchface that lacked a 12hr mode though.

I had my watch set to 24hr time for like five years and my brain never did learn to read it without stopping and going "okay so 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, that's four then, got it."

It's that time of year again, when the Windows Insider program has fucked up Windows Update somehow and I have to manually download the next Windows update.

I suppose they can't be arsed to fix this since anyone using Insider builds can work around it but this has been a problem for 9yrs lol.

I had mine set to the double back tap gesture on my old Pixel and it worked quite nicely, but now ever since upgrading I can never quite get the strength right and so I constantly struggle to turn it off lol.

RFK is undoing human subjects protections so he can conduct placebo trials of vaccines. That means infecting people knowingly. I wonder who will “volunteer” for these trials? If history is any guide, a lot of incarcerated and other powerless people.

The entire HR department at the CDC is gone. Everyone at the IRB, which makes sure studies are conducted ethically and rigorously, and the ethics office, which oversee conflicts of interest for CDC leaders and advisory committee members, were also let go.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about these cutscenes. Mallow is def flapping his lips in total silence here, for instance. Still a generally great game but whenever one of these would pop up it was so uncomfortable lol.
