I spent years in Afghanistan, I think (re)vetting refugees is a good idea.

That said, our nation promised these people a free and democratic Afghanistan and then Trump reneged on those promises and set a bunch of terrorists free who then hunted the families of these refugees. That's the crime.

But god forbid we “prop up” programs like affordable healthcare plan premiums and other “life or death” sectors which affect the populace across the board… 🤷🏻‍♂️

I guess it’s a good thing we were so concerned about the right to speak our opinions being outlawed by a ruling class that we guaranteed it by making it the very first amendment in our Bill of Rights when we formed the country.

Don’t forget that *Trump’s own lawyer’s argument* to the Supreme Court in the immunity case was that the check on the President using his immunity to order criminal acts was that those under him would not follow illegal orders. Now it’s a crime for lawmakers to remind servicemembers of that?
The President doesn't want you standing up and speaking out against him, so he's coming after me to intimidate all of us.

But I won't back down — and neither should you.

The realities of Trump aging in office:

He appears to doze off during events.

His public appearances mostly occur during a short window: Between noon and 5pm.

He sits while others stand.

His covers bruises with makeup.

He had an MRI scan that he tried to hide from the public.

This is what happens when Trump puts loyalty tests above legal standards. An inexperienced, unlawfully appointed prosecutor justifiably resulted in two politicized indictments thrown out.

This is a stain on the DOJ and a warning about what political vengeance does to the rule of law.
