On Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, Matthew Rhys says that a streaming platform, likely “Netflix”, is trying to acquire the rights from the publishers of the Power Broker to make a show or movie on it.

What do folks think about this? Often books to movies don’t work well.

When cycling around Mountain View last week I was struck by how wide the (vehicle) lanes were.

I seems an easy quick change to narrow the vehicle lanes then take the extra space to build a network of protected bike lanes without eliminating space for cars.

@theoverheadwire.com has the same idea.
