This is one of the most accurate ways you can represent a sphere on a flat surface and I'd so love to see more of it (plus the "blossom" corner aligned type) for fantasy and scifi TTRPGs because of how cool it looks. Cut the sphere in strips and then lay them out, more or less. This is AWESOME.

I took a break from Marvel stuff, but just finished Daredevil: Born Again.

1) I love Charlie Cox as Daredevil. He continues to be perfect.
2) They tried to cram too many plot lines into this.
3) They did Foggy dirty
4) This is way too on the nose considering current events.

another year, another question in my mandatory state employee ethics training that seems *patently absurd* as our federal administration runs on bribes & extortion

A university employee was attending a conference out of state and received an invitation to attend a networking dinner at a local pizza parlor with some of their co-workers. The employee attended with every intention of paying for their own dinner, but upon arrival, discovered the vendor had ordered appetizers, several pizzas, and dessert. There was no way to order separately or pay for their portion as the vendor had covered the meal.

Jewish Insider just sent out an email with an article with more Platner info. And yeah, this guy is DONE done.

But according to a person who socialized with Platner when he was living in Washington, D.C., more than a decade ago, Platner had specifically acknowledged that the tattoo was a Totenkopf, the “death’s head” symbol adopted by an infamous Nazi SS unit that guarded concentration camps in World War II.

“He said, ‘Oh, this is my Totenkopf,’” the former acquaintance told Jewish Insider recently, speaking on the condition of anonymity to address a sensitive issue. “He said it in a cutesy little way.”
