It's not a stretch at all, because 88 and 8 pointed stars are some of the most common nazi dog whistles in existence, and these lightning bolts are right next to each other when worn, making them a double while in regular use. Your argument is invalid.

By itself, I wouldn't think too much about the star, but in combination with the SS style lightning bolts, the odds of it being a coincidence dwindle, since code can be written in shorthand and with other context, one 8 can convey the same message as two of them.

The whole point of a dog whistle is to not be glaringly obvious. When you hold that necklace up by the chain, the lightning bolts are right next to each other, and the ones closest to the pendant are anyway.
The eighth letter is H. Nazis use "88" in place of "HH", which means "heil hitler"

That's a repeating pattern of double lightning bolts, one on each side, evenly spaced, leading to an 8 pointed star, and each lightning bolt looks exactly like the ones you see on nazi shit.
Millions of people recognized it instantly. You can't tell me that a symbolism enthusiast like her didn't.
