Got new Motorola Edge 60.

Seems all new androids map long-press power button to "launch digital assistant". There are online guides that suggest with some phones you can switch this feature off, but none of those settings exist in my phone.

This is the copy of the WFRP 4th edition rulebook that I used while writing the Enemy Within Director's Cut. I put a notarized statement to that effect in the front, vaguely intending to auction it for charity.
Since I was laid off, I now need the money for rent and food.

Mine mostly gets left for me, unless it's super urgent. In fact I usually have to cancel leave because of bidding deadlines at least once a year, often in summer hols or around Xmas. Happy time this does not make.

Yup, that equivalent is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Like Functional Skills English Level 2 is "GCSE equivalent" and my son passed it when he was 13.

Oh no.

I've just learned that Warlock tiles have added a sewers set, and will soon also have upper storey expansions so you can make multi-level dungeons.

Maybe I need to add to the box of unused dungeon scenery in the garage...

Without even reading the release, I bet theyre talking about "Level 3" qualification, which is technically A-level equivalent but is absolutely nothing like studying an A-level.

Whereas my 11yo AuDHD daughter hates illustrations in books, because she wants to imagine what characters look like and she hates having that influenced by other people. She refuses to look at any artwork relating to the Percy Jackson books for this reason

959 years ago, on the 14th of October 1066, the Battle of Hastings took place. Harold Godwinson (king of England for 282 days) died in the battle that would turn William from Bastard to Conqueror. Battle Abbey's high altar is said to be in the exact location of Harold II's death. #otd #history 🗃️

Drove past a primary school at lunchtime yesterday, and the screaming coming from the playground was something else.

If you want to operate a secret torture murder dungeon, just put it near a school and limit your psychopathic tendencies to 12.30-1.30 on weekdays. No-one would notice a thing.

Maybe elves are the inverse of the Batman, in that the larger their ears are, the less serious they are. (Batman being famous for becoming more and more dark and serious the longer his ears got).
If I weren't so pathetic today, I'd make some kind of chart to prove this.

AD&D weapon vs armour type table, with individual modifiers for every weapon vs. every armour class type (which wasn't the same as actual armour class, just to confuse things further)
