Yeah, there's lots of evidence that work helps with depression (and not working makes it worse). And there are a lot of organisations that do good work in this space. The problem is lowest-price procurement - you don't need a gold plated luxury service, but you don't want bargain basement BS either

Such good advice.

The other thing is just to think about what you need, in terms of functions. What do you do on a laptop? And if it's "not much" then cheap is fine. You don't need the latest processor, megaRAM or whizzy graphics if you're just doing letters and self employed accounts.

Not chords, but entire bars? Oh man, that's an arrangement I'd love to hear!

See, I'd say Abercrombie has more in common with Tolkien than with Moorcock. Yes, it's earthy and violent, but he has a level of realism to his world-building that is much more akin to Middle Earth than swords & sorcery

To a lesser extent, true for 4e as well.

I think 4e works best when you google "Best character builds" articles and just hand one to every player. They tend to reduce choices at each level to a manageable amount (without eliminating choice to a single uber build) and puts everyone on a par

Loads of great replies already, but seems to me more likely that the Vichy collaborators will be in the South, not the traditionally rebellious North.

So maybe go for something like Bath or Cheltenham?

Yes, noticed this watching Gen V.

They also cut to ads in the middle of a show with no warning or cut screen or anything. Which is super annoying

And it shows the level of ignorance that people think their policies will do anything to make their lives better

We had a surprising chunk of snow down here in Bedfordshire, just on the edge of the Chilterns. Sadly didn't settle in a meaningful way

The current Origin story podcast series on the history of the labour party is truly fascinating, but particularly tragic to hear how Labour left and Labour right turn on each other again and again.

Why not both?

Honestly, the first thing we should do is scrap the offence of Death by Dangerous Driving. It should be Manslaughter. End of (it already fits the requirements of Unlawful Act Manslaughter, but prosecutors never use it)

I'm not sure it was any easier, we just had more time (and we maybe had the base knowledge too - the choice is a lot easier if you understand the underlying mechanics that the choices refer to)
