I was just reminded of Racinet's Costume History, which was an attempt to illustrate the entire world's clothing and ornamentation. They're very beautiful, richly informative illustrations.

Quietly celebrating M.R. from Pennsylvania, our new subscriber of the day!

I'm not against quietly celebrating TWO new subscribers, though.
Finished my edit of the January issue of Unwinnable, another banger on the way. When it arrives, I'll be turning off the year-end subscription special, so if you want all of our 2025 offerings, now's the time to subscribe. 5 bucks, 24 magazines!

My goal this year is to get one new subscriber for Unwinnable Monthly every day. Is that you, today? If you do it, you also get all 24 issues from 2025 right now, which is a pretty good distraction, if you want to be distracted.

Broke out my punk 7-inches to vent some spleen and The Dicks were the first one on the turntable. 1980. Describing the same violent, bullshit policing we still have 46 years later, and have had since time immemorial.

Maybe THIS time we'll stay angry enough to change things.
