“I asked ChatGPT” well I asked the three Fates and the one with the scissors got very agitated when I told her you were using your one precious life thread talking to that cursed thing

It’s important to show kids A Christmas Carol so that they learn early on in life that the only way people over 70 change is by being visited by 4 ghosts on Christmas Eve

The ghosts in A Christmas Carol are so under-appreciated. That is a premium service they’re giving out for free, coming to you and pointing everything you need to change. If it was real, Netflix would make a wholesome reality show called Ghost Eye for the Rich Guy and it'd run for twelve seasons

Tbh I think most sets of siblings have one who wouldn’t even need enchanted Turkish delight to sell the others out, they’d simply have to not be getting enough attention that day

Quickly approaching the time of year when one proper snowstorm could knock the power out or keep you stuck at home for weeks. PLAN ACCORDINGLY (stock up on books)

Terrible that ‘twas doesn’t get the usage that it’s does in modern language. The apostrophe in it’s is mundane, confuses many, is a chore to use and see misused. The apostrophe in ‘twas is just a little guy, he is tipping his hat to you, he’s so excited you’re here, to share his word with you

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

Did you even ask the elephant if it wanted to be addressed? Can an elephant not simply exist in a room without The Man making demands of it

What if I wanted a lovely croissant for breakfast sometimes, Zeus? A nice omelet on occasion. But no, as I am not Zeus himself or little Zeus my desires do not register and I must keep tearing away at this titan flesh - not easy to tear into, by the way!! - avoiding awkward eye contact as best I can
If I was an eagle and forced to eat the same dude’s disgusting liver every morning for eternity just because he ticked off my boss I would be incandescent with rage

When I was little and Jo saved Amy from the ice and the girls made up, I was relieved. Now, having written my own manuscript and thinking about it burning because I didn't take my little sister to the theater, I feel like Jo could've maybe left her in there a little longer

When you think about it Amy March marrying Laurie makes a lot of sense, youngest siblings are always getting hand-me-downs
