I’m ideologically a Queer Anarchist Feminist. I believe in leftist solidarity. Capitalism divided us; so like a rhizome we must grow into a garden of mutual aid. In the imperial core, we cannot exist as a united front, so we must embrace our diversity.
Solidarity forever. #leftnotliberal

Assata Shakur's story, Marian Jones writes in @teenvogue.com, is "also a reminder of the impact of COINTELPRO, and how it continues to impact activists today through technological surveillance, the criminalization of protest, and the targeting of dissidents." Shakur passed in Cuba on Friday.

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and every other day, it is important to learn about Indigenous culture, listen, and reflect on the role we can play in reconciliation. We all have a responsibility to acknowledge the past and work towards a better future.

On this National Day for Truth and Reconciliation we remember and honour all the children across Turtle Island whose lives were stolen by the residential school system, and all First Nations, Inuit, and Métis who live with the impacts of this system today. #NDTR #988Canada

On this day, all non-Indigenous people are called upon to witness and act upon this truth, without which there can be no reconciliation

Their mission statement? “The mission of ARPA Canada is to educate, equip, and encourage Reformed Christians to political action, and to bring a biblical perspective to our civil authorities.” Also, “ARPA Canada is grounded on God’s infallible word.” Sound familiar? (I'll explain why they scare me.)

Protests clash at Queen's Park over gender-affirming care for children | CBC News

Our counterprotest demonstration earlier today against a hate rally calling for healthcare to be forcibly withheld from trans kids was attended by almost 100 participants.

The hate rally ended without meaningful impact. We built the connections necessary to safeguard trans rights for years to come.
ARPA Canada has set up a stage for their Transphobia Rally at Queens Park. Remember they are calling it "Let Kids Be"
Tomorrow, a group of Christian Nationalists plan to hold a rally in Queens Park Toronto. The group organizing the rally is ARAP Canada, an anti abortion lobby. The Word on the Street festival is happening in the park as well. They are hiding behind the very deceptive title Let Kids Be.
We're counterprotesting a hate rally attempting to target trans kids' healthcare.
