There are two insane things going on here. One is that Olbermann is posting (why????). The other is that Nuzzi has been romantically entangled with the subjects of her reporting for over a decade. There was no slow slide or brief lapse, it's been happening for years.

The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

The commonalities are access to weapons, living in the USA, no/low access to mental healthcare, and being veterans so we should outlaw all four of those, right?
One reason I raise this is bc Kristi Noem now says that Lakanwal was "radicalized" in the US (she has to say that or she herself is complicit in failing to vet him properly).
