I will absolutely judge you by how you treat the person in the room who is providing service/with the least to offer you/without power.

Easiest asshole detector in the world.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
I seem to recall people said they saw a demon face in the shapes at the top.
I have not, but of course their would be herds.
He spoke at the HRC MN dinner tonight. It would have been speak-and-run at the rally, but the locations would have been convenient.

Funniest thing I saw today:

A Cybertruck was driving on a downtown Minneapolis street today. It soon found itself blocked by the No Kings protest, which was flowing down a cross-street.

You’ve never seen a car pull a u-turn so fast.

My sign was pretty popular today.
Taken and shared with permission and a "Kudos to your science friends. We need them."
Wow, he's a teen already?!
I watched all the T-Rexes at the Minneapolis event find and greet each other today. The costume comes with its own solidarity.

Today is also an excellent day to make a cash donation to your local food bank. As great as giving food items is, cash donations go further. And the need is about to become great.
Really hoping everyone on the streets today is prepared to organize and dig in for their neighbors when there are no SNAP benefits next month. It's not enough to make a pithy sign and take a walk on a Saturday afternoon.

I have covered many protests. This is the puffiest.

Finally - a way to draw big crowds to downtown.

My mom’s protest signs, as always, are a helluva thing.
Again, I don't need you to tell me any of that. But if you don't already have answers to those questions, figure out how you're getting them. If you don't know that either, understand that even non-ideal (whatever your purpose) protests are pretty good places to organize together. 3/3
1. What kind of action will you show up for, publicly or behind the scenes?
2. Do you know people working to organize it?
3. Do they know you, know how to reach you, and know you're willing to show up for their kind of thing? 2/
I've seen some friends post that No Kings isn't the protest for you. I'm not going to argue with you about that—not all actions are for all people. I am going to ask you, however, to make sure you (not I) know the answers to a few questions. 1/
We can make that photograph happen.
Ah, yes. Yet another form of designated-adult hood. Joy.

THIS IS THE WAY

Abortion at urgent care. At the student health clinic. At the community health center. Integrate abortion care into primary care clinics and into standard medical and nursing training—where it belongs.
