“If we give in, we’re not only doing a disservice to us, we’re doing a disservice to where we have gotten in women’s sports. We really have no choice but to stand strong again, not just for the present, but for the future of our league too.”

“we’re not going to give in before we get it.”
Napheesa Collier, the WNBA’s Fiercest Warrior
In less than four years, Collier had a baby, won Olympic gold, and cofounded a women’s sports league worth $340 million. Now she’s the face of the WNBA’s fight for fair pay—and she’s not taking no for...

The depth of the shame of a country this wealthy and abundant allowing its people to go hungry is impossible to measure. The fact that a handful of people could fix this by paying their fair share of taxes while still remaining obscenely wealthy makes it even worse.

Is it too early to ask: What if Congress never meets again? What if the President just decides by himself, with the help of private donors, what he wants to spend money on or not?

It is incredibly funny that Graham Platner is employing the age old white technique of “I didn’t know I couldn’t do that” and the entirety of the white political pundit ecosystem is like “HE DIDNT KNOW HE COULDNT DO THAT” as if they don’t know about “I didn’t know I couldn’t do that”

I very much wish the whole Platner tattoo thing hadn't happened, it would be much better if he really was an ideal progressive candidate able to take on Susan Collins

However, there is a huge silver lining here: we are learning a lot of important info about certain individuals and orgs on the left

Parents, please check your kids’ candy this Halloween. I’ve just found an ancient metal whistle with the inscription “QUIS EST ISTE QUI VENIT" inside a Snickers bar. I blew it and heard a note of infinite distance, and now I’m haunted by a figure in pale, fluttering draperies. Be safe.

Phew managed to make it another day without getting a nazi tattoo. It’s hard out here. Just nazi tattoos roaming the streets attaching themselves to people. Stay woke

The Democratic primary in this race will be held fully eight months from now in June 2026, there are nine active Democratic candidates, and there could be more! Even the filing deadline is still months away (March 15, I believe). I don’t get the PSA crew adopting a bunker mentality this early.

"How do you expect to win back men...?"

We don't want those men. They are the hot dogs on the floor of humanity and we still have all these nice prepped hamburger patties if someone would just let them cook.
