On a trip to Fermanagh with my dad and sibs. Staying in a lovely little spot on Lough Erne that comes with the single best named boat I've ever encountered in my life.
I used to use Google Docs because it made it so easy to write anywhere, but I'm willing to take a hit to the convenience. Plus I always carry a notebook anyway so I can just go old school????
Waking up at 6am and deciding that the best thing to do, instead of trying to get more sleep, is to get up and migrate my novel over to Scrivener one scene at a time, with all the metadata and keywords

Fuck you Google, you ain't scraping any more of my life's work
I keep scrolling past this and laughing at him, he looks fucking ridiculous. That dramatic look over his shoulder, those eyes which are in different postcodes, he was caught attempting to commit crimes but there isn't a brain cell in that head
Coming home to find this CREEPY MAN in my house

I know you might be dissatisfied with the Greens' performance and considering a protest vote for Labour but I would encourage you to think about what that means when Reform are so far ahead. It's time to leave the idealism of the student union behind and get serious.

Vote Labour - get Reform.
Cat tax, he's rumbling at a solid 6 on the Richter scale after destroying my room and everything I love
Decided to start baking bread again today after a few weeks of fantasising about it. Got some dough proving in the fridge for tomorrow, and now I'm chilling in bed with a sleepytime tea and a purring cat on my lap. The magic of being an adult is saying fuck it, I'm gonna live like a Hobbit now
I might have to just paint this one anyway and give it to the client as a freebie because I love it so much 🥹
Concept portrait for my current #dungeonsanddragons commission! Aiming for something between an ancient Egyptian priest and a Buddhist monk for this Aasimar monk NPC. The actual commission is for a full body image but I like to pin down the face and outfit before I pose 'em 😎 #art

Had a busy day today making a bunch of bookmarks for my lovely Patreon supporters! These are always so satisfying to make.
I absolutely love both, but I've gotta agree with a bunch of folks that yellow pops much more. Absolutely stunning work!
2000 words redrafting done today, yay! October has been a scattered month for writing, so I'm hoping to keep the pace up to get a good momentum going for November 😎
I feel this. I come from an impoverished background and have always had to hold down a regular job to support myself, but balancing it with my art career can sometimes be incredibly difficult. It's been hard to grow and the advent of GenAI slop certainly hasn't helped.
