Around the 17:55 mark of the new video btw, it carries on when the robots who look like they are frozen in pain start spouting stats. It could be a parody of neo-nazis types doing that, but it felt off to me.

We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.

I've got some wooden model shipbuilding stuff - passed down - tools, lots of small pieces and parts, guidebooks, a half-built ship, etc.

Is there a forum or such where I could find someone in the area who might want them?

Iirc it was some microsoft related thing about building more datacenters something like that. It was a while ago. Wasn't OpenAI obv. (And even if they were to release financials they would do the Musk thing and invent their own new stats so you can't compare it to anything).

The man who made movie poster art, well, *an art* has passed: the great Drew Struzan.

Loved his work.

Let's not forget how he was tasked to make a poster for The Thing in hours knowing only the premise of the original 1951 film. The paint was STILL WET when he handed it in.

May he rest in peace.

I get that there could also just be the 'sometimes people are so wrong it will take ages to explain factor at stake'. However, one of these conversations was also me being worried about people abusing LLMs in a way that was later proven to be a correct thing to worry about.

And it is funny, as it was the same with cryptocurrencies, be critical of them have people go 'you just don't understand them' and then you ask them to explain and they disappear. (rarely they did give an answer, and it was bad (also had a pro-ai person do this recently)).

He himself has admitted he has no experience reading financials, which makes some of his readings of it potentially doubtful (I think it is esp when he thinks he found a reason for those financials being in a certain way), but that doesn't mean he is wrong, just that people should do some reading

Also weird to argue that communism will not see trans peoples bodies as a 'need', of course they will have 'designer vaginas' (what a way to phrase that).
