The covid jab is around £98 in the UK. While I wish it was cheaper it's = one day of work on minimum wage. Covid on the other hand can lose you 10 days of work on minimum wage. You only need to prevent 2 cases over 10 years to be saving money by having the jab.

This is something I love about London too. There are so many spots that turn out to have a facinating, historical or cultural significance. Things that would be the main central attraction in many towns are just the thing you walk past everyday.

One of the things I love about London is how inconquerable it is. There's just too much of it to ever believe you'll discover it all. I first stumbled on this mosaic a few months ago, about a minute's walk from the flat I've lived in for 8 years.

You're now making a different point. ICE raids are not popular with most Americans - and therefore there's no reason to suppose they'd be at all popular in the UK. Also the UK is much smaller than the US. People who might ignore masked gangs 3000 miles away will care more when they're 100 miles away

I think this is hugely important. I have done a lot of research on religion and politics for my book (about 🇬🇧) and I cannot overstate the difference between the pundits and politicians who talk aggressively
about "cultural Christianity“ and the people you meet when you actually go to church.

If you inherit you'll pay a huge service charge, but they can ban you renting it out - even to completely suitable retirees. Makes them almost impossible to sell, but if you somehow manage to they can charge exit fees. So elderly people miss out on companionship & don't free up their homes ....

Reforming retirement communites could get a lot more elderly people to downsize. But since management companies can put all kinds of rules & fees on the inheritors of these properties, they can be a nightmare to inherit, and few elderly people want to leave their kids with a big mess....

Anti-racist protesters are being goaded into opposing the flag. Don't play into their game. Instead display big posters of non-white athletes & celebrities wtih the flag. Especially those with immigrant backgrounds. Force them to oppose our sporting & musical heroes.

Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.
