I hope Microsoft likes their feedback:

How likely (1-5) am I to recommend this product to others?
1 (very unlikely)

You may add a comment:
You added "AI" to the account without consent or prior discussion and increased the price. I would never recommend such an unethical company to anybody else.

think there's gonna be an influx of people from Twitter because of some recent developments, but posting here has fallen off like 33% since Jay's crash out. And the people coming here are the people who were, you know, Still On Twitter. So congrats Bluesky team, you wanted this place to suck and now

Oh good. The comedian who wanted to burn it all down, publicized the intention to vote for Jill Stein because the two parties were the same, suggested that others also vote for Jill Stein because the two parties were the same...

...is somehow unhappy with what "burning it all down" looks like.

I think that fewer people should be working for the clampdown.

They don’t even know their names, but insist they are terrorists!

Wait, wait - someone killing people who they don't know, in international waters, and can't point to any direct imminent threat, is calling other people terrorists?

[Admission against interest. I might actually think that the group chat douchecanoes are kids.

But I was a geriatrician. If you were too young for me to see in clinic, then you were a kid.]

Here are the grown “kids”. That one guy looks late 40’s. These are the Hitler lovers.
Vermont state senator Sam Douglass. Bland white guy with glasses and beard. Brown hair. Man in poorly fitting dark suit with glasses and dark hair. Yes he’s white. William Hendrix who is the communications assistant to vile Kris Kobach, Kansas AG. Bobby Walker, dark hair and dressed exactly like trump. Not a kid at all. He’s vice chair of New York State young republicans. I guess young means under 50. Peter Giunta looks like he’s in his 40’s. I don’t know his age. Also dressed like trump in an ill-fitting suit. He has one of the worst combovers I’ve ever seen. Beard and mustache. He’s the chair of the NY state young republicans. He looks like the type of guy that looks through your windows at night.

I’m not even engaging with the rest of what’s wrong or factually incorrect about this; would he apply this standard to young job applicants to any profession making a cruel joke online about Charlie Kirk’s murder

This gerrymandering thing seems bad. But I thought about it for a bit and came up with a new idea. We could try districts with multiple members decided by proportional representation. Surprised nobody has thought of it before.

Remember, according to the Republican Justices, it's okay to gerrymander for party advantage, not racial advantage. It's an unknowable distinction, but one that allows the Republicans to okay racist gerrymandering under the guise of political gerrymandering.

A musician, Oriana Korol, was peacefully playing clarinet with her protest band outside ICE facilities in Portland, OR.

When the band started playing “Ghostbusters,” ICE thugs suddenly poured outside, slammed her into the mud, arrested her and took her to a jail 9 miles away in Vancouver, WA.

Wasn't on the internet much on Tuesday. Did I miss the Day of Remembrance? That's a bummer.

Well, maybe it's not too late to be sentimental about it.

RIP. You would have loved not being dead.

Obviously it isn't asked in good faith.

But there are potentially interesting questions raised here.

About hospital privileges. And about the effectiveness of state licensing boards as currently implemented. And about how much either of those things actually protects patients.

One side or the other should probably want to dismiss me from a jury for most cases.

That now includes any case that involves theft from a company that uses LLMs. Because it’s okay to steal from them.

The worst thing about being in my 50s is that I can’t use the “I am 30 or 40 years old” ATHF quote.

Okay, okay. It might not actually be the worst thing. But it’s not helping.
