Matthew Sweet and Glen Phillips, two of the best songwriters of the 1990s, deserved way more notoriety. This album is my all time favorite, I hope Sweet recovers from his recent stroke to play it live again.

Matthew Sweet and Glen Phillips, two of the best songwriters of the 1990s, deserved way more notoriety. This album is my all time favorite, I hope Sweet recovers from his recent stroke to play it live again.

My take on Alonso: loved him as a Met, wish him all the success, but I am very relieved that contract is not on the Mets' books. The back half of that deal is going to age like milk. Happy for the O's fans, especially the ones who miss the days of booing Chris Davis.
